27 months as a Peace Corps environmental volunteer in Benin, West Africa. Friday, June 22, 2012. A few months ago, I applied for a small grant through Peace Corps to construct a live fence, or fence made of trees. So I took it to my old village Tonri, where I lived my first year. I talked to the director and he was more than happy to have 1,000 tree.

She is strikingly beautiful and her dirty humor and easy smile have filled many a night in our home with light and laughter.
