We want to have a listening-led environment with a friendly and free modular system that enables researchers working creatively with field recordings and speech to create listening experiences for a diversity of audiences and render these experiences in a diversity of interfaces.

Once a month in 2015 i am going to experience and document the sunrise in a remote and beautiful Dorset location. The forecast had been good and leaving home the sky had been clear. The foggy cloud enclosed the field in a damp womb of intimacy. There was little sound apart from the ever optimistic skylarks and a surprisingly feisty breeze. I began to photograph what I felt would be a rather unchangin.
