Wednesday, July 25, 2012. There was a possibility that I was going to join a project in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and if that had happened it would have been the end of my China blog. We all knew this was coming. It was evident for months that something had to change and this morning the news came that David Moyes had been sacked as manager at Manchester United. I know there have been many reasons that supporters can point to throughout the season, but I think this was doomed from the beginning. Yes, yes, I know he has a right to bring in his own people.
Sunday, February 1, 2015. This April I am going with an orchestra group to Cuba. The country is very poor, but as the US starts relaxing travel restrictions we hope that money that tourism brings into the country will actually benefit the people. As things currently stand, we will be traveling on educational visas. I am going as the sound tech, and will also be doing training sessions. I ask for your prayer support for my trip.
