Summits On The Air and other playgrounds. Mt Marulan and Towrang Range 9 Aug 2015. The summits chosen near Goulburn are around 100km from Canberra so well within RF range. It was an early start to get to the first one well before UTC rollover.
Amateur Radio, SotA, Camping. The VK6 SoTA programme has started and thanks goes out to everyone who made it possible. Anxious to get started, I thought a trip up to Mt Dale on my day off would be a great beginning. I have been here a few times before, once camping and a few other times chasing thunderstorms. After an initial flurry of contacts on 40m I tried 15m.

The site had the following in the homepage, "VK2QR Summits On The Air SOTA." I noticed that the web site stated " Amateur Radio and the great outdoors." They also stated " SOTA ChaserActivator name sheet and log. How often have you forgotton a name during a heavy pile up of chasers?
