For wives of chronically ill husbands. The struggle is REAL, married or single, sick or healthy, rich or poor. We all struggle with loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Loving our neighbor as ourselves is a natural victim of war when we lose the fight in some area of loving God first. The special needs hero Augie falls prey to this trap, as does his mother especially. Everything revolves around making sure Augie get.

When Abraham gave first choice to Lot, and Lot took the best and greenest pastures for himself, Abraham simply let it be so. Then God promised to give him all the land, as far as his eyes could see, to the east, west, north and south. Abraham held a relaxed confidence in God and His promises. So I choose to relax, and place my confidence in You.

It has been way too long. I hope you are having a fantastic summer! I would like to say that I have tons to post and my house is magically decorated. And I am being craft-lazy. I am trying to live in the moment and enjoy these fun summer days with Little Man. Plus I am getting caught up on our family blog in a BIG way.

She got to pick up kids from school, see just about all her grand and great grand kids and see a house that we thought about buying!
