She is unique, like all children, in her own way. And it was hard to get him to do things. A good mother will put the needs of her child before her own. But there I was, glad to be freed of that responsibility. How could I be so selfish? Who am I if not in her world? Bed-rest WAS not in my vocabulary. This time, the doctor seemed surprised to hear about the rash, but told me to continue the amoxycillin and that it would get better. I knew my body and knew that more drugs was NOT what I needed. I stopped the antibiotic and sure enough, the rash was gone two days later. Bed-rest WAS not in my vocabulary.
