As mentioned in my previous post. I went on a couple of excursions during my week in Shanghai. Unlike the city itself, the canal towns are renowned for being tranquil, old fashioned and quaint, so after a few days of bright lights and almost constant scooter-dodging it seemed like a nice idea. A winner for that jaunty hat angle alone. About his friendship with the carto.
Washington DC - We Are On Our Way. Back in the USA Via Ontario. Thursday, September 24, 2009. Capitol and Washington DC visit September 17, 2009. On Thursday, September 17. We did not bike but instead took the Metro up to the Rayburn Building and visited the Capitol, which included spending some time with our Congressional Representative Todd Tiahrt. Saw a few notable congressmen in addition to Representative Tiahrt. Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
Monday, May 08, 2006. Thankfully this one decided to leap up, flap around a bit, do a massive crap, nearly land in a tree, miss and fall back down the reeds again. We finished the evening off with a stop at the local chippy in Sunny Hunny.
