Love, Grief, and all the In-Between. Monday, November 7, 2016. Today was my estimated due date. I am 40 full weeks not pregnant. Mason should have been born today. Or last week, or tomorrow, or two weeks from now. But I did want to write a little about him for his day.

The energy and buzz of a city is something that always excites me! I like to capture this by working fast and spontaneously. I have no set rules when painting city scenes and use a combination of watercolours, inks, pastel pencil and collage. Each place requires a different approach! I usually start with an ink wash and build up from there. Markets are so different all around the world. From the variety of colourful food, to the produce and goods sold.
