Kampagne auf der Isle of Wight am landesweiten Tag der Solidarität, dem 12. Am Landesweiten Tag der Solidarität mit Vestas Arbeitern, waren Arbeiter und ihre Unterstützer auf der Isle of Wight unterwegs. Es gab Stände und Kundgebungen in Newpord, Ryde, Sandown und East Cowes. Die Reaktionen der Bewohner der Isle of Wight und der Touristen waren überwiegend solidarisch mit der Kampagne die Werke offen zu halten, damit sie Turbinen herstellen können.

They also stated " New homes destroyed in just a few minutes. Not a bad place to be on an overcast day; tracks become watercourses, dampness pervades.
