In Dunedin this week, down from New Plymouth, for the school holidays and just had a lovely walk at Orokonui Sanctuary. The highlight was seeing two Takahe foraging around in the undergrowth, totally unconcerned by the bright pufferjacket-wearing humans gawking at them.
