Creating Meaning through use of Media. My use of Ken Burns was originally overused in my image mash-up. The times I use Ken Burns, my purpose was to focus and then pull out of the image. A type of cause and effect I want viewers to feel, specifically in the images of the car crash and the girls crying. Originally, I was not going to include text, but I decided to include statistics. My intentions were to leave the viewer thinking. And completing the overall message of drinking and driving.

This past year because they had been bullied, because of ignorance, and because of hate. I felt sympathy and sadness for those boys and wanted to somehow put that cold reality into this assignment. The song is by Johnny Cash.
