A Black-necked Grebe found this morning was a new bird for the Farmoor 2015 year list. This takes the total seen here this year to 136, which is the lowest number recorded by this time of the year since 2001. A Busy Bee Day in the Garden. Willow Beauty I think! Marbled Beauty, Bryophila domestica. Pill Woodlouse, Armadillidium vulgare. Solitary Bees hotel with many cells now full with nests of the Leaf-cutter Bee. This Honey Bee has a slight colour variation.

Getting Sun Burnet At Staines Moor. We took advantage of a lovely sunny day on Sunday 19th July to head out to Staines Moor. 4th July saw Team Sausage in central London. For all intents and purposes, we were on a friends, food and film outing.
