Tomorrow our son will be two months old. It seems ridiculous to me that time has gone by so quickly. I keep waiting for a reprieve, for things to stand still for a moment while I catch up, but everything keeps moving right along. I am overwhelmed by how much I love him already.

The knife put away out of reach of her hand. A smile lost among the screams. The twinkle fading from her eyes. Scared legs scared more hitting the ground. Hands held out to break the fall. Her hands reaching out to the sky. Asking for strength to run away. She falls to the floor.
We arrived here quite safe, but the weather is not at all kind. It rained all day Sunday and all Monday morning. I hope the boys will be able to get a swim.
