Thursday, February 12, 2009. You know how kids just say whatever they think sometimes? And they wonder about everything under the sun. Well, today it was bath time. So I was in the bathroom with the kids taking turns bathing each one. Then all of a sudden my four year old son asks,. Why do they build a drawer that does not open? That does not make sense! You know the non-functional drawers they build into many bathrooms? I could not help but laugh.

Thursday, October 8, 2009. Signs of Fall are here in Texas. I love this time of year! The weather is beautiful! Cool days and even cooler nights! We have had a lot of rainy days lately, which I love. I love this sort of weather. I love cloudy fall days that are crisp and make me want to make apple crisp and homemade. Chili Do you know what I am talking about? The smells are wonderful. I love driving down the road and seeing pumpkins and scarecrows.

I had a great vacation trip with Ken, Katherine and Shawn. People underrate trips with family! It was a lot of fun! So now I start thinking about the challenges of a new school year, and hope that I am ready and refreshed, and up for another new course prep. Karen, we will always love you. We miss you terribly, and you are never far from our thoughts. Thank you for teaching us about life and love.
