Information design is all around us. During my trip to the palisades mall I decided to take pictures of ANYTHING that I thought would be considered information design. It happens to be there are a lot of things that could be considered information design in the mall the only problem was that I was asked to stop taking pictures because of policies but here is what I came up with. People do use the virtua.
There are many theories to information design of which I found the sign-posting or wayfinding. The one that best fits what I do, graphics and web designing. Know what the function is of the piece you are designing. You are essentially aiding in a problem solving for the viewer.
