We have a new blog link! January 19, 2010. The crew is out finishing the Aspen Block. The guests enjoyed learning more about the vineyard and the tasks to be done throughout the year. Natasha served breakfast this morning and visited with the guests. She did a great job. We will two bud the Camelot Block after this.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Adventures in food, drink and life in Oregons wine country." I noticed that the web site stated " Who is this Liz person? Take me to the river." They also stated " A Discover Yamhill Valley reader told me there were kayaks and canoes for rent in Newberg. I called around to find out, and got Kat Ricker, the public information coordinator for the Chehalem Park and Recreation District. More than once, I had to stop paddling to take it all in. I also believe that farms can be beautiful any time of year, so it was not a hard sale. In addition, Blue Acres has about 135 chickens which produce about 5 dozen eggs each day. She also provides some fruit and eggs to area restaurants. The farm once had a working sawmill, but all that remains at this time is the foundation. An irrigation pond offers wildlife habitat to migrating waterfowl.
Yamhill Vineyards BB is a little known gem in the Yamhill Carlton American Viticultural Area. We sit on a hilltop surrounded by a 25 year old vineyard. Yamhill Vineyards Bed and Breakfast offers our guests a quiet country setting with spectacular views, sunsets, and star gazing. Each of the two large guest rooms has a queen bed, table, chairs, and private bath. Oregon Bounty gourmet breakfast featuring grape juice from the vineyard.
