Despite my initial liking towards this idea, there needs to be some control as to the content published and online behaviour. Cyberbullying is the more serious side to regulating the actions of people on the internet. The Australian Governmnet has recently made the stopping of cyberbullying a priority, with programs such as Cybersmart. There were some interesting opinions in the tute surrounding thoughts on internet freedom, especially A Rape in Cyberspace. As one student points out.

The article A Rape in Cyberspace. Was certainly an interesting yet disturbing read. The laws regarding these games in terms of user-protection should be the same as every other interactive platform online, such as Facebook. Who have suffered immense emotional trauma due to these crude occurences. The blog The Dark Side of the Virtual World provides great insight into the topic. It seems very foreign these games do not have more regulation.

Over this past semester, my classmates and myself have been required to submit a weekly blog discussing the topics covered in lectures, tutorials and readings. I believe that this blogging activity has been a valuable and effective learning experience.
