It was the first rain of the season. The evening-long shower brought along a small dust storm, but also some much-needed respite from the 47-degree heat. Living at the top-most floor without any sort of air conditioning in the month of May, and amid profuse sweat and humidity that in the middle of the night made me wonder how I am still alive, the rain seemed to have custom-fallen for me.
