As a Japanese international student, there were many things that I learned from the class. The class taught me the effective ways to learn second language, and thing that I need to think about as a second language learner. I often feel that second language acquisition teaches me the new culture, perspectives, and being able to speak more than two languages gives me more potential in the future. Therefore, learning another language is always interesting me.
Throughout the semester we share our thought on numerous subjects regarding language acquisition.
This semester we discuss how to learn second language effectively. The first half of this class we discuss how human brain works to acquire languages. The second half of class we focus on how to learn the target language for l2 learners. What I have learned from this class are not only the methods for learning the second language effectively, but also have realized some external factors would affect l2 learners.
