This afternoon my husband found a tortoise in the garden. I had never seen a tortoise like this before. I could only guess that it was an exotic species someone had bought as a pet. The bulbs are up but the sun is obscured by a thick grey blan.

My interest in photography started since May 2010 when i bought my first DSLR camera. Since that time i have gotten especially interested in nature photography and also human interest. I mainly use Nikon camera and lenses.

Sunday, March 11, 2018. Abstracted Landscape by Canadian artist Bente Hansen. Abstracted Landscape 11x14 Mixed Media on Canvas. This piece started with a poured acrylic painting. I then added a coat of clear gesso and painted with transparent and opaque oil paint. There are areas of thick paint and there are areas of transparent paint. I think it is a good combination.
