Forventningerne til dagen var opbygget gennem hele ugen, da vejrudsigten lovede sydlige vinde med høje temperaturer. GjerrildNordstrandØst udfordrer hvemsomhelst hvorsomhelst i morgen - det bliver kæmpestort. Jørgen er klar med notesbogen. Vi andre er klar til at fylde den op.

The 2nd Yellow-legged Gull for Satakunta County. The same individual was seen in Uusikaupunki fishing harbour couple of days earlier. This represents only the 30th individual for Finland if accepted. Welcome to follow my occasional birding in Finland and other countries around the Western Palearctic. Slow winter birding in Maunula. Yesterday I had some time to go out and looks what kind of birds are wintering near our house. I went to Maunulanpuro, which normally holds some Dippers this time of the year. De rest van het broedseizoen van 2015. Het werd uiteindelijk zoals in het vorige bericht al beschreven een behoorlijk slecht broedseizoen voor de meeste holenbroeders. Veel dode jongen in de nesten en jongen die wel in leven wisten te blijven vertoonden in de meeste gevallen een dusdanige achterstand in de groei dat het onmogelijk was om de leeftijden van die jongen te bepalen als je niet ook een exacte geboortedatum van die jongen wist.
