I think what I enjoyed most about this class was that it really did seem to strike a great balance between theory and practice. We had great discussions about our readings, shared some personal bits, broke bread together on several occasions, and learned together. Digital literacy is the ability to effectively and critically navigate, evaluate and create information using a range of digital technologies.

December 18, 2013. At the beginning of the semester I was immediately concerned about the potential workload of this class in addition to my other classes. I was never a fan of classes with heavy reading, and was concerned about keeping up with the work throughout the semester. Honestly the workload isnt bad, I just decided to juggle too many things at once this year, so the readings and blog posts quickly caught up to me. I enjoyed the discussions immensely. Though I didnt participate as much as.PARSED CONTENT

Wow, I find it hard to believe that this semester is finally drawing to an end.
A drop of ink make a million think. This really makes me think about all of the YouTube videos out there that have been removed because a song is used as a soundtrack, but in essence, no one is making money off of it. It is just a recreation of something else. Lessig makes a lot of interesting points and I will definitely be keeping these thoughts in mind as I continue my own work with digital technologies.
