In addition to blogging for my Public Relations writing class, all of the students were also asked to create a twitter handle and post frequently throughout the semester. We were asked to post about trends in the PR industry, interesting articles we may have stumbled upon, and even some Marquette-related topics, being sure to include a picture that we snapped and edited on Instagram! Tweeting professionally can still be enjoyable, and I was excited when my newsfeed was full of interesting articles, video.

My daily thoughts, insights and ramblings. After all, you are limited to 140 characters. However, it has become one of the most used social media platforms and those who have adopted Twitter handles have found ingenious ways to share the world through 140 characters. And love that they have found the perfect way to incorporate fashion to creatively market their brand.

My experience with Twitter for class. For the past semester I was instructed to tweet 36 times, about four times a week, with a hashtag for my class. I have had a Twitter. With this assignment it made me think about what I could be tweeting about. Do I focus on re-tweeting interesting articles or just focus on the funny aspects of my daily life? Once this assignment is over, my tweeting might go back.
