Curriculum, Assessment and New Media. Virtual worlds such as second life inspire creativity and are great student motivators. I love the examples of whole classes creating their own virtual learning environments. This gives the students control over their own learning environment and therefore the opportunity to take ownership and make positive choices about their own learning. I will definitely be looking to utilizing this brilliant tool in the science classroom in the future.
