So this is our last blog of the semester, this semester has gone so fast, scary that were finishing our degrees in a couple of weeks time. Before the children can learn we must first teach their parents.

Well, the semester is over. I have finished marking your blogs, and I have been impressed. A couple of suggestions for next year have emerged, and I want to talk about them. The first would have me giving several lectures scattered throughout the semester.

So in this blog we have to sum up what we have learnt in this module. I have heard many talks touching on a range of educational issues. Some were things that I was already aware about others that I had never considered before. One small step for an NQT, one giant leap for teaching.

Looking back over all the ideas brought up in this semesters class there seems to be a few common threads running through them which I think highlight the key ideas that could improve the education system as a whole.

I am heading out with a team of people to Ghana to help out with starting a school and teacher training. Although resources are scarce in the area i would love it if people had a few summary ideas i can take to the teachers of this area.

Students need to learn at their own pace, and be able to go back over the basic material regularly in order to be able to fully understand more com.
