I think that this was the most helpful assignment that we have done this year because making a game like this is something that I know I would love to use in my own classroom. April 2, 2012 in Uncategorized. I absolutely feel like I learned even more about making PowerPoint presentations during this assignment. I got to play around with some of the more fun features, designs, and animations. Also, I got some practice preparing something for a class this I already knew, but a lot of work goes into making it organized and understandable! March 26, 2012 in Uncategorized. I also learned how to create action buttons. I created a Chemistry Jeopardy PowerPoint Game and I really enjoyed making it. I would definitely create a Jeopardy PowerPoint Game to review a subject and help my students prepare for a test. I found it interesting that a lot of my classmates rely heavily on technology.
I would like to learn how to use a SmartBoard. I know the SmartBoard is a major asset to the educational community, because they were in every single on of my classrooms through out high school. Not only do these devices provide a place to project a screen on, but also acts as a white board and touch screen. I would want to learn how to use it and incorporate it within my classroom.

When I become a teacher, I will use non computer based audio visuals such as poster boards and movies. I think it is important for students to get crafty and creative so I will assign projects that require hands on work like crafts and poster boards. I could incorporate them with computer based technologies by having the students make power points slides to go along with their project.
