What is your favorite piece of poetry that we have worked on in class so far? December 6, 2009. I am just starting Eclipse. The last book, Calamity Jane. I thought The Dead Poets Society.

December 7, 2009 by elbaack. My favorite poem that we hav read in class is OCaptain My Captain. It was easy to read and understand. I also like the way he phrases things and his ideas. I would have never thought to write a poem about that, but he has good ideas that come out great if he puts them in writing! I like the O Captain My Captain piece. So that way I got to see the poem from two different perspectives.

I liked Song of Myself 10 the most because it had a lot of diverse scenes that depicted the life of Americans- mostly freedom. From the trapper to the runaway slave, I think a lot is said in a couple lines. The book and what it said.

I had thought that Nick and Jordan were going to get married and have children. But my ending was too predictable. The real ending seemed much more interesting and sad. What did you learn by working in groups as large as you did? How will this help you in the future? Response to Act lll.
