Social Media in a Rhetorical Intervention. In class social media response. Negatively, social media has ultimately changed the lives of these teenagers as well. One kid, who was a freshman at a university, dropped out as a result of the video. Not only are the convicted teenagers affected for life, but furthermore, the girl who was raped is going to have this stigma attached to her forever, as her story is all over the internet.
