Learning one stitch at a time. Today I put up my work for the formative assessment and end of year exhibition. I really liked being able to show my work at the end of the year. It also feels like preparation for next year! Here is my space, I have added three new designs to my collection which I actually prefer a lot more to my older designs.
I started this project knowing exactly what I wanted. A woodland feel with my own personal style attached to it. I also knew that I wanted to place these designs onto dog products, predominately dog walking products as I has been inspired through my walks through the countryside with my dogs. I decided on 5 final characters which were, the rabbit, fox, frog.
I have been instructed to create a blog of my time studying textiles at Cardiff Met University. I am best described as your typical student who is obsessed with her bright colours and crazy patterns. A designer in the making, an artist trying to broaden my creativity and techniques. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
PDP How did subject and field inform one another? May 27, 2015. Both field projects as well as subject have reinforced my thoughts of becoming a teache.
These are my final designs that I have chosen to exhibit. I am pleased with these designs as I feel that they give an overview for the rest of my work. I have also been able to fit the new designs into the families that I had before.
