No more theory, put it into practice. This quarter has been a roller coaster. It began with a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school, on December 14. I sat down and cried, and found solace in a song. T and made my thoughts public. It was hard, but I feel it is important to always remember that our students have a lot going on in their lives that they may not tell us about, but that can immensely impact their school life.
Teaching is Like a Contortionist. This quarter has been full, eventful, exciting, demanding, tiring. I could go on and on. So how have I grown at being public as a teacher since January? I must admit that, this quarter, I did not take the time to comment on outside blogs. I felt very pressed for time and this was one of the elements in my life that I let slide.
