This blogfolio fulfills my requirements for IT 645 Computers in Education at The University of Southern Mississippi, summer 2014. Included in this blogfolio are reflections on selected chapters of the text Teaching and Learning with Technology by Lever-Duffy and McDonald, artifacts for each hands-on project along with project reflections, and a final course reflection.

IT 645, Computers in Education, gave a wide exposure to various learning tools that could be integrated into the classroom to enhance student learning and participation. Not only was the information presented but the course allowed for the knowledge to be applied in creating projects using these tools.
I am delighted to have survived another milestone toward my educational goal! Technology is indeed a major part of 21. Often times people miss out on good knowledge because of the cost that is associated with the tools but these are FREE tools that my students can take advantage of. Jesse Emling Learning Portfolio in IT 645. What have you learned in the class? Computers in Education provided an overview of many different technologies and Internet tools that can be used in the classroom. Throughout the course, we were required to keep a blog. In our first class project we were required to create a listserv. I found Google Docs to be a highly useful tool for both students and teachers.
