The site had the following in the homepage, "On June 19, 2010 by mdoster." I noticed that the web site stated " Photos I took while studying the Punavuori neighborhood." They also stated " On June 19, 2010 by mdoster. While I was taking a break, someone had stop to ask for directions, and the woman at the grocery store responded to me in Finnish and didnt respond like I had 3 heads, or even worse in ENGLISH! Now that I am back in the states, I realize how much the trip to finland has truly transformed the way that I look at the world. While abroad, I began to understand myself in a different context.
Still hush of harbor fog envelopes the city. The morning sky bluing, as the barely set sun begins its ascent. White-tipped tail follows darting nose amidst the scree and underbrush. A single soft whistle from six stories above. One furtive glance up,. A frozen second, before slipping away,. Silently down the ruins of an abandoned siding.

Welcome and thanks for taking the time to visit my blog on my summer trip Helsinki, Finland. I am a graduate student at the Catholic University of America working on my Masters in Architecture and this study abroad trip is in conjunction with students and professors from the University of Tennesse in Knoxville.
