I can relate to this, if in a much milder way, as I think anyone with social anxiety probably can. The things I can think up, worst case scenarios and such which never happen.

All things made with my needle and thread. It is time to show you the progress made on my Friendship Quilt V by Whispered by the Wind. Last weekend I spread all of my collected paper stuff across the kitchen to make some collages. But there was a bag full of paper strips I wanted to use for weaving projects. At the office we always got lots of advertising mail on all kinds of coloured paper. Some time ago I ran a couple of sheets through the office shredder as mine does particles.
