This afternoon my husband found a tortoise in the garden. I had never seen a tortoise like this before. I could only guess that it was an exotic species someone had bought as a pet. The bulbs are up but the sun is obscured by a thick grey blan.

Two artists from Sherkin Island will hold a joint exhibition of paintings at the Community Hall on Sherkin Island from Saturday 9th August until Saturday 22nd August.
