Forgive me for my month long lapse. It was a beautiful city and a great last stop on our european excursion. the city was full of culture, music, historic architecture, fine foods and great weather. yes, to top the last few days in europe, god granted us gorgeous blue skies and moderate temperatures. The city was full of glass and jewelry shops. and at night, they were the most well lit establishments, boasting and sparkling their treasures.
Thursday, April 24, 2008. And now for the rest of the story. I think the best part about Scotland was the people. Did I mention that they are super friendly there? I met more people during our short stay in Scotland than I did on any of our other excursions throughout the semester. It was great! One encounter though will forever stick out above the rest. It all began on the train ride to our hostel. Apparently the show is about some man named JR Ewing.
