The entirety of last week we spent in Italy. We spent 4 days in Rome, 2 in Naples, and 2 in Florence. In Rome we saw tons of ancient architecture, from the Colosseum. We also saw the Vatican. We also saw tons of Bernini. In Naples we took the train to Pompeii. And spent a day there exploring the 200 acres of ruins, and the next day visited the Isle of Capri.
Thursday, April 24, 2008. And now for the rest of the story. I think the best part about Scotland was the people. Did I mention that they are super friendly there? I met more people during our short stay in Scotland than I did on any of our other excursions throughout the semester. It was great! One encounter though will forever stick out above the rest. It all began on the train ride to our hostel. Apparently the show is about some man named JR Ewing.
I was bitten by the european bug. Tuesday, 13 May, 2008. I went to wal-mart today. it was a bit overwhelming and so unnecessary. And life as a texan resumes. Friday, 9 May, 2008.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Forgive me for my month long lapse." I noticed that the web site stated " i can explain, i swear." They also stated " It was a beautiful city and a great last stop on our european excursion. the city was full of culture, music, historic architecture, fine foods and great weather. yes, to top the last few days in europe, god granted us gorgeous blue skies and moderate temperatures. Wednesday, January 24, 2007. It had to happen sometime. The fresh perspective is always welcome, but there have been many parts of this experience that served only to remind me how much I love living in Canada. This was the apt conclus.
