Posted by darrancarr in Uncategorized. Tuesday to friday Work Experience! I spent this week in Queenstown on work experience for Queenstown Lakes District Council at the beutiful Queenstown Gardens. Spent Tuesday clearing up after large gale force winds the night before took down a few trees and left a lot of debris all over the QT Gardens. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday was spent with Val the head gardener and his assistant Joe.

Today we did irrigation checking in cheery orchiard and pipfruit orchiard and lot of tractor practice with mover and sprayer. Today is the last day of my course i am really happy to do this course. LAST WEEK OF TECH! Time has flown by since we began in Feb. We are out Bannockburn today with Trev but i leave about 9. 30 feeling sick as a dog. The others build picnic tables and have a general tidy up and deconstruct our fences we built. We head out Bannockburn today for our second irrigation install. We also start raking, and leveling out the soil for the lawn area out the front, me, Sarah and Alistar wit.
