Embracing the lessons our life teaches us and others . It has been a long while since I blogged. There is a good reason for that. We never stop learning, and I had a few more lessons come along like waves beating against the crags. It took all of my energy to stay upright, but I am upright! Life never stops happening. Today is the best place I have ever been.

Speaking up about mental illness. When I was a kid I remember getting told off all the time by my teachers for daydreaming. I would stare out of the classroom window and get completey absorbed in another world, no racing thoughts or worries, it was bliss. And I remember being chastised for it all the time and believing it to be a bad thing. Go on a mental holiday. I have battled with depression and emotional instabil.
