I am called to shine bright and unwavering against the carpet of black. Voices rise and fall around me. As we bounce along the dusty road. For just this one day, we are free. Jake was in between a rock and a hard place. In a game of capture the flag, a guard on the opposing paintball team had pinned him down. Jake had to do something. Paintballs splattered against the barricade that Jake was using for cover. He was playing a paintball version of capture the flag. The flag was in an open space in front of Jake. However, an opposing guard had him pinned.
