Writing Without Spruce Trees; English Blog. When I came into this course, I was feeling pretty sold about me writing already. First Draft of Project 3. It is always somewhat jarring to hear someone who is respected and renowned say that they believe that they were wrong.
If I had to choose something that I thought improved my writing the most out of anything I would say that it was keeping a blog. Throughout the semester we were given blog assignments that were due at the end of each week by midnight. These assignments would usually relate to what we were focusing on in class, whether it was.

The first thing that sparked a change in my writing was our first essay we had to write. The question was what role does writing play in your life?
