Literature, Tea, and Dreary Days. As mentioned in a previous post, I have not always been the best writer. I majorly struggled with writin.

This past semester in this writing course has been a great learning experience that I wish I could have taken advantage of during my freshman year. However, I am grateful for the opportunity to build my writing skill as I have improved in areas that I always thought were a lost cause. I have struggled and continue to struggle with where to put that stupid semi-colon! Write on, my friends.
You might think I say it wrong but I have heard it both ways. Honestly, most things in writing are a challenge to me. My grammar is what hurts me most. I cannot seem to pick up even the most obvious mistakes. Someone else will grade it and I will think to myself, how on earth did I miss that? I struggled with the research essay. It was hard to convey my best arguments and most came from one source. I was also very long.
Pencil in the future, Maybe? I will not lie to you, I have absolutely no clue what my future holds. I can say for classes, maybe. Facebook, sure? That is about it. The site had the following in the homepage, "During the past four months I feel like I have gained confidence in my writing." I noticed that the web site stated " I have given pieces of paper a voice and given it flow that now distinguishes my writing from the writing of others." They also stated " Writing 110 has been a great tool for me to learn the basic structures of most all types of writing, but I feel that there are still two things that I wish I could improve on. In high school, I was a perfectionist. My essays, and really any writing assignment, would take me hours and hours to complete because I had to make sure they were perfect before turning them in. The thought of writing my own post about it made me squirmy and uncomfortable.

Due to my uncertainty about my future, it is hard to say what I will be doing. I hope that writing continues to play a significant role, as I do feel that I am decent at it. Unlike art, I currently express myself with my writings, whether it is blogging or journaling. I do hope this continues, as I love to look back and remember where I have come from.
