All projects have been graded and grades have been posted. Visit the course Blackboard site for feedback and comments. Reflect on your learning over these past several weeks. What are you taking away from the course? What would you like to learn more about going forward? Have you changed your ideas and perceptions about classroom computer integration? Also review and reflect upon the views on classroom technology use blog post that you wrote at the beginning of the course.
I think that most students would prefer Glogster. Another technology that I would be really interested in learning about is the Smartboard. I know that the chances of my classroom having a Smartboard are pretty slim to none, but it still would be nice to know how to use them since there is a chance that I might have one eventually.
I believe that one professional learning goal that emerged as a result of this practical teaching experience is for students to demonstrate the ability to categorize information via concept mapping. I believe this is just as important as categorizing information with a pen and paper. Unlike paper, concept maps do not vanish or get lost so I believe that using technology in this instance is more beneficial to students than pen and paper.
