It made me see that not all students in your class room are going to be on the same level. In the third grade class, half of the class was reading. And the other half was reading.
I was unsure of what to expect going into this internship, but am now more excited than I have ever been about my future teaching career! I spent one hour and fifty minutes each day in the language arts class with my students. While I was there the students were finishing up a novel study. I found it particularly interesting that half of the class was reading.

On Wednesday I am getting on a train to visit Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, and Xian! I can already tell I am going to have a hard time leaving China. The past few weeks have been a breath of fresh air. Finishing up my first semester of college,. Spending time with family, warm weather and nannying have been lovely as ever. Im alive and loving it all.
1 HUE refers to the particular color, a name that would identify a specific color. The color wheel project helped me learn about hue since we had to mix and paint specific colors for the wheel. I think that if I went back today I would do a better job though and I do think I learned a lot.
