Art as a Therapeutic Experience. Follow Me On My Creative Journey. I decided to make a bird. This idea popped into my head because my class mascot is a phoenix. I identified the major characteristics of a bird. Bird-like features that I wanted to show in my piece were the beak, wings, and color.
Each book that I have read has shown how the media, literature and music played such a huge role in the dispersal of the movement. Not only that, but the various social movements that people were involved in, challenged people to openly express their need for peace, love .

To begin this project we started by grinding our own charcoal dust from the sticks of charcoal. We then used toilet paper to rub this dust over a sheet of paper. Once our sheet was completely blackened we were ready to begin. To create our faces we were to erase out our features from the blackened page. We used kneaded erasers and if we made a mistake we recovered the spot with more charcoal dust. And here is the final product. Developed Analysis of the Elepeacock.
Now that I know what I can do if I spend hours a week on it, some of that might trickle down to my casual doodles. Now to consider the logistical issues of getting this thing cross country. It was an interesting feeling seeing my work sitting out for general perusal.

I used my nose to measure everything else, so the proportions in my drawing are pretty close. Class is over, school is over, and graduation looms upon the horizon. Four years sure flew by quickly! And what an awesome project to end on!
