Creating a student-centered online course. The roles student take in the development of an online community can be extremely important. The course needs to be more student centered. It seems that many online learning communities are based on posting blogs, or updating information online. There needs to be more. Students are actively engaged in creating, understanding, and connecting to knowledge and learning.

This school mixed e-mail, chat, and asynchronous discussion to create their online course. Two elements of this article that I found most interesting were the student perception survey and the good practice concepts that are explained.
