This is definitely my last blog. I will miss it as I will miss all you folks on the course with me. But at least we have reached our mutual destination together and are ready to go our separate ways on our next journey. I hope that our paths will converge at intervals along the way.

Had a very productive PDP meeting with Pete yesterday afternoon and it was good to have half an hour set aside just to sit down and chat informally about anything and everything. There are also numerous grants and financial assistance we can provide and I need to get to grips with the procedures and qualifying criteria for these. As others have mentioned in their blogs we were lucky enough.

I shall achieve this by continuing to be organised, diarizing all my classes, planned study periods and assignment deadlines. I shall know if I have achieved this goal because of assessor feedback.

I want to thank everyone for giving me one of the best years of my life- I really did enjoy it that much. I really enjoyed getting to know all of use and really hope that we keep in touch! Does community make people lazy and under the impression that someone else will take care of things? The individual is still key in my opinion although I accept the thinking that encourages us to look at the individual in context of their surroundings.

And so the end is near. I just wanted to post this short but sweet post to say that I have now got a clear understanding of why reflection is important especially in the line of work we are all heading towards. Having time to think about your ideas and beliefs allows you to see yourself and practice in a different way and highlights what is really important. What has happened to make them believe they are bad and work through to let them see.
