For the Science of Education Module I have blogged, and read blogs about a wide range of issues related to educational psychology. This module has proved many things, some of which I will now go onto discuss,. The Science of Education module has been the most engaging module I have undertaken in all the years I have been in education.

Students need to be fostered to become intrinsically motivated. This will enable the students to further their knowledge and reach mastery in their favoured subject. Rather than only learning information because of extrinsic rewards.

I thing I enjoyed most about the module was the way it was tested. Doing weekly blogs meant more work but it was in smaller more manageable chunks which is much better than having to cram information for other exams and this modules exam at the end of the semester. I enjoyed the module and would recommend it to all second years. I think more modules should adopt some of the concepts that this module demonstrates work.

From the very first week, this module has been an eye-opener. So many topics have been discussed in a small period of time, without being too much to take in or keep up with.

Asymp; Leave a comment. When I first chose this module, admittedly, it was the lure of no exams that my decision was largely based on, but I must say that it has been one of the more enjoyable modules that I have chosen this year.
