What Have I Learnt? This week I will be discussing what I have learnt throughout this module. What I have learnt about psychology and education? There are uses for things that I never considered to be important within education. Lectures are not good for engagement. In general lectures are not great for learning. What I have learnt from this module? Groups, leadership and men.

Science of Education Coordinating Blog 2013. There were some great syntheses, however, there were far too many lists of what you had covered in your previous blogs. A synthesis needs to highlight what has emerged in your thinking as a result of having done all this research. For too many of the blogs, it was just a recap of what had already been covered. Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

Before coming to University three years ago I had no idea that blogging was an existing phenomenon let alone a tool that could be used in order to learn and express knowledge. However during the course of my degree I have been introduced to the concept of blogs and it has developed to become an extensive part of my learning journey especially during this particular module over the past few months.

This blog is all about applying Psychology to Education. Procrastination and Cramming, the truth. However, I really dislike the presentations! Having to be recoreded doing them and having to upload them to YouTube for anyone to say made me more nervous, and I was fine doing presentations before this module. Overall, this module has its pros and cons.
