Science of Education Coordinating Blog 2013. There were some great syntheses, however, there were far too many lists of what you had covered in your previous blogs. A synthesis needs to highlight what has emerged in your thinking as a result of having done all this research. For too many of the blogs, it was just a recap of what had already been covered. This blog will cover application of psychological principles to educational settings. This module has been great! First off I want to say thank you to anyone who took the time to read my blogs.
Having the blogs weekly meant that I worked at a consistent steady pace rather than fluctuating efforts throughout the semester. I felt this increased my focus and I learnt so much more in comparsion to other modules. I liked the fact that this was not weekly tests but weekly blogs because if it was weekly tests, my focus would be on trying to fulfill a content criteria rather than thinking about developing my skills.
Where has the time gone? Seriously, this semester has flown by! I have to admit when I heard what the module contained in terms of work, I was a little scared. 8211; There is .
Something feels funny, I must be thinking too hard - Winnie the Pooh. As you may guess from the debate in my blogs, I think the set up of this module should be implemented more, particularly in higher and further education.
Regarding the bi-weekly talks, although hesitant at first, I now understand how beneficial they can be. They allow us to present information that has sparked our imaginations and grasped our attention. There was nothing worse than giving a POPPS talk on Statistics, as it held no interest to me whatsoever! My third.
