My blog for JOUR 4720. As the final project for our photojournalism 4720 class, we had to make a multimedia package suitable for the web. My teammembers and I decided to do this project over the Emerald Eagle scholarship program. Choosing a President by the New York Times. The bottom photo is of Mr. Ray Roberts, who was waiting in line to vote. He was also very friendly and thus let me accomplish m.
I worked with my father as a field laborer for a day. Most of these people are either legal or illegal immigrants and work for 50 dollars a day, which is a significant amount more than they make in a day in their home country. They work 8 hours a day in the scorching sun tilling the soil and picking crop. Enjoy! Children of the Lord.

The project itself consisted of a video, a soundslides componant, and a story. All three were put together in a flash shell.
